Melda Ahmad mula menyanyi sejak berumur 5 tahun. Pada mulanya beliau menyanyi hanya sebagai hobi namun kini menjadi cita-citanya.
Melda Ahmad juga pernah menyanyi untuk majlis makan malam sekolah dan telah memenangi beberapa anugerah.
Baru-baru ini lagu duetnya bersama band Sugar Love Cookies iaitu ‘Kau dan Aku‘ telah diputarkan di radio tempatan X FM
Melda Ahmad masih menuntut di UiTM Shah Alam dalam bidang music majoring in vocal. Kalau anda search nama Melda Ahmad di Youtube, banyak lagu yang telah ditulis oleh beliau, dan Melda sendiri yang menyanyikan lagu tersebut.
